Manawa Energy is committed to renewable generation and decarbonisation. The Bream Bay diesel peaker is the only part of Manawa Energy’s generation portfolio that is not renewable and accounts for less than 1% of Manawa Energy’s total annual electricity generation output.

Bream Bay is retained by the company as it plays an important strategic role in ensuring continuity of electricity supply in times of high demand.
