Our vision is to be Aotearoa’s leading independent power producer.

Our existing generation fleet is responsible for around 8% of the country’s hydro generation capacity, and our planned solar and wind farm developments will create even more renewable energy to power our homes and businesses.

Wherever you are, we won’t be far away either! Manawa Energy has operations in almost every region, from the Bay of Plenty in the north, to Otago in the south. We operate 26 hydro power schemes across Aotearoa New Zealand, with more renewable generation sites in the development pipeline.

In addition to our generation sites, we have offices in Tauranga (HQ) and Christchurch.
